NetHope is a nonprofit IT consortium of 29 leading international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) representing billions of humanitarian development, emergency response, and conservation programs – serving tens of millions of beneficiaries in more than 180 countries.  Over the past three years, we have helped give NetHope a voice to its mission thought strategic storytelling campaigns, in addition to creating the organization’s first Annual Report in 2007 and conducting a thought-leadership storytelling campaigns for its Chairman Bill Brindley.

Over the past 29 years, Mercy Corps has provided $1.3 billion in assistance to people around the world suffering from poverty and oppression or rebuilding their lives and communities in the aftermath of natural disaster. For the past three, Waggener Edstrom Worldwide (WE) has partnered with Mercy Corps to tell its story including its “Bank of Banks” microfinance banking institution, a book launch ‘Half the Sky,’ which highlights women’s poverty issues and we provided strategic counsel on community outreach—often with social media at the heart of our campaigns.

As part of our commitment to local community development, every employee is eligible to take two days a year to volunteer with an organization of their choice to improve the communities where they live and work.  Recent initiatives include working with Humedica a humanitarian organisation in Munich, St. Argyle Primary School in London and The Connection, one of the UK’s busiest homeless centres.  With our help, The Connection organised its first fundraising dinner in October 2009, raising £130,000.
